FOR ON-SITE TRAINING PROGRAMS ONLY
(Applicable window repair, historic plaster repair,
repointing and architectural woodworking workshops)
Applicants must have a minimum of two years experience
in construction or related trades. Applicants must submit a resume listing
relevant work experience and the name and telephone number of a professional
reference with the registration form. Education in lieu of work experience
will be considered. PEI will notify each applicant of its decision within
two weeks of receipt of registration form. Once accepted, participants
will be required to sign a waiver and submit proof of health and accident
insurance.
ACCESSIBILITY FOR PERSONS WITH DISABILITIES
Most workshops are offered in accessible locations. Some
workshops include visits to historic buildings which are not yet accessible. Historic
Windsor and the Preservation Education Institute will make every effort
to accommodate people with disabilities including, but not limited to,
sign language interpreters, large print or Braille text, assistive listening
devices, use of temporary ramps, and accessible portable toilets. Please
indicate your assistance needs on the registration form. Giving us a
minimum of two weeks notice would be very helpful, which is also the
requested registration deadline for most workshops, unless otherwise
specified. You may contact us at 802-674-6752 (voice/TTY), 802-674-6179
(FAX) or email histwininc@valley.net.
INSTALLMENT PLAN AND SCHOLARSHIPS
Participants may make a non-refundable deposit of 25% of
the tuition cost. The balance of the tuition may be made in up
to three installments of 25% each with the final payment received no
later than two weeks prior to the workshop. Call if you need scholarship
assistance; we may be able to help.
