A note from the director

Painting in Progress!
As summer winds down the painting on the Stephen Jacob House is in full swing.  Thanks to the support of the 1772 Foundation, Bethel Mills, Inc., California Paints, People’s United Bank, the board and members of Historic Windsor and the Windsor Correctional Facility work crew, the future for the Jacob House is much brighter!  We selected the historical color collection developed by California Paints in cooperation with Historic New England.   “Jonquil Yellow” and “Andover Cream” were great matches to the samples found on the house.
